We celebrated my birthday today. Thank you for all the wishes. Everyone was particularly nice to me today, which was my wish.
We looked at what writers do when they write. We found using dialog to show what a person is thinking and to reveal things about the character. Also, good stories are specific and about one thing. Also, good stories have specific word choice and details that reveal feelings. We are trying this tonight for homework.
In social studies we started making maps of the Browns River grounds. We walked the grounds and looked at google earth satellite photos on the computers and ipads.
